We ended October with a bang. The end of our month included a choir performance by Sarah Avery, lots of fun trick-or-treating, and a soccer tournament champion. Here are the pictures....
Sarah Avery was pumped to sing at the Wednesday night prayer meeting at church.
She looks nervous, but she really wasn't.
I wish I could post the video instead of the pictures because she did all the little motions and sang her heart out.
Susannah's soccer team had an end of the season pizza party at a local high school soccer game. They got to cheer on the big girls and play on the field during halftime.
Susannah loved it!
The girls and Daddy carved some pumpkins on Sunday before Halloween.
They both wanted extravagant designs that matched their costumes.
So Peter obliged. The Harry Potter symbol and Rainbow Dash.
One morning last week was Donuts with Dads at Sarah Avery's school.
She and Peter had fun of course.
Before we knew it, Halloween was upon us. So we lit the pumpkins.
And headed over to a friend's house for pre-trick-or-treating pizza.
Fun memories.
Our first house of the night!
Our crew. Our neighborhood does Halloween up right and every year, we feel so lucky to have ended up here. The sense of community is amazing and we are so thankful for all these memories.
We had lots of Harry Potter representation in our group. Here is Harry, Hermione and Ginny.
We let the kids have a little candy break halfway through.
And then it was over and we were home surveying all our loot.
On Saturday, we had to divide and conquer because Sarah Avery had a birthday party.
And Susannah had her end of the season soccer tournament.
She and I went for a walk to get coffee and hot chocolate before time to leave for her game. She said she wanted to take a picture like a grown-up. Apparently this is what grown-ups look like??
SA had a great time at her friend's birthday party.
It was at a nature center and they took a little hike.
They saw some turtles.
It was such a fun and exciting way to end the season.
So proud of this little athlete!
Yesterday Susannah had a teacher workday so she and I went shopping at the mall. She found this little wrap and fell in love with it. It was her favorite purchase of the day. We had so much fun.
