Spring break has come and gone so I wanted make sure I took a minute to post some memories that we have made over the past few weeks. I hope everybody had a Happy Easter.

| We started spring break with some Easter Egg dying. |

| We did our eggs early because we left on Wednesday morning to head to Charleston for a few days. These girls (and their animals) were so excited to be at the airport. |

| Major Milestone: These two sat by themselves like champs. Peter watched a movie and I read. What a difference a couple of years makes! |
 |
| Before we knew it, we were in our condo with this view. |
 |
| And a few minutes later, we were in the pool. (By we I mean Peter and the girls. Mama did not venture in as the temperature was somewhere between glacier and ice water.) |
 |
| We went to an early dinner and then took a sunset stroll on the beach. |
 |

| We stopped by the public beach playground on our way back to the condo for some swinging. |
 |
| The next morning we woke to the most beautiful sunshine. Breakfast with a view. |
 |
| SA wanted me to take a picture of these house shoes. A friend handed them down to her and she loves them. She calls them her snuggies and wears them every waking hour she is inside our house. |
 |
| We watched Daddy run on the beach. |
 |
| And when he returned, we were ready for our beach day to commence. |
 |

| We had not expected such warm temperatures so we were so excited to be in our bathing suits. |
 |
| Sweet baby presley came over to join us for some beach fun. |

| The condo had several puzzles that the girls and I had so much fun putting together on our breaks from the beach. |
 |
| We ate delicious Charleston seafood every night. Susannah tried a raw oyster and said, "I don't like it now, but I think I will when I'm a grown up." |

| Presley and Aunt Kristy met us for a walk on the beach after dinner. |

| Friday was a rainy, windy day so we headed off the beach and into Charleston to visit Daddy's Alma Mater. |

| Hollis and Presley joined us for lunch. |
 |
| Then the four of us headed to the Charleston Aquarium. |
 |
| The girls loved seeing all the fish. They also loved the $5 popscicles we bought them on the way out. |
 |
| Saturday morning we woke up slowly because we wanted one more brunch before heading to the airport. Thanks to Aunt Kristy and Uncle Hollis for being such great hosts! |
 |
| Saturday evening we were home and busy unpacking. We went to bed early because the Easter Bunny was coming! The girls insisted on leaving him thank you cards and candy. |
 |
| Sunday morning we were sooo excited because he came! |
 |
| And left his traditional footprints! |
 |

| After that it was time for church. |
 |
| Our church is under construction currently but the flower cross was as beautiful as ever. |

| We spent the afternoon with our supper club, eating a potluck lunch and watching the kids run around the yard. |
 |
| It was a perfect day and I was so grateful for all of it. |
 |

| The weekend after Easter my russian teacher had a group of students and teachers over for an Orthodox Easter celebration. We played games and the kids had another egg hunt. |
 |
| The next day SA had her bestie Kaitlyn over for a playdate. |
 |
| Last week was Sarah Avery's birthday celebration at school. Her teacher's wanted to celebrate the summer birthdays too so we baked some cupcakes and took them in for Sarah Avery to share. |
 |

| One of Susannah's school fundraisers is the "ride the trolley to school" and this year we bought a ticket for SA too. |

| Both girls had a blast. |

| SA was so excited about her birthday crown. She wore it for two days straight. |
 |
| Last Friday night we took the girls out to dinner. We had a gift card that parents had given Peter as a coach's gift after basketball season so we let the girls order dessert. They were beside themselves. |
 |
| Luckily we had parked across I-395 from the restaurant so we were able to walk off a little bit of our dinner. |
