This fall has flown by. The girls are thriving in 3rd and 6th grade and I'm enjoying my two jobs. Peter has spent 4 weeks in Poland and we celebrated Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ryan's wedding in Asheville. While we are feeling so grateful for the full event calendar that these past couple of months have offered, I haven't had much margin to take photos and post here. But these are a few of the highlights from September and October 2022.
| The girls love to bake. And this particular weekend, they had a baking session in the pjs. |
| We joined a new church in our neighborhood. The new member committee made us feel so welcome. |
| I took this beauty out to dinner one Friday night when her big sister had plans. |
| These two 6th graders are so grown up and beautiful. |
| We visited our local pumpkin patch. |
| The sun was beautiful and bright. |
| So thankful for the moments when they humor me and act like little girls. ;) |
These girls--they never cease to impress me with their resilience and courage.
| We made a sign to welcome Daddy home. All five of his girls were excited to see him. |
| But these two may have been the happiest. |
| Two days after his homecoming, we headed to the airport to head to Asheville. |
| The fall foliage was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. |
| But the best part of the weekend was seeing so many family members. |
| We had so much fun exploring sunny Asheville on Friday before the wedding. |
| Meeting our youngest cousins was extra special. |
| Aunt Nancy was so happy and such a gorgeous bride. |
| We hung out in the bridal suite all day before the wedding. |
| The girls were so excited to get their hair done with Aunt Nancy. |
| Special memory. |
| The venue was stunning. |
| Cousins |
| Brothers |
| My loves. |
| Now it's time to party!! |
| First dance---It was a beautiful weekend from beginning to end. |
| This Saturday was the Marine Corps Marathon Kids Fun Run. Ms. Beth, Ms. Jess, and Sarah Avery were matching in their GM sweatshirts. |
| These girls ran with their elementary school even though they are big 6th graders now. |
| Big sisters and little sisters. |
| Here comes Susannah! |
| And Sarah! |
| So proud of these two. |
| They earned cool medal too! |
Next up is Halloween. We hope all of you are having happy Octobers. We love and miss you all!
