We had a fun, but unusual Easter this year, as we traveled to Singer Island, Florida for a spring break trip. We had a fantastic time and since returning, have been enjoying all the sports and events that come with the end of the school year. Here are the photos.
| The Easter bunny came on Tuesday night so we could leave for Florida on Wednesday morning. |
| Our flights were wonky, so I traveled with Susannah while Peter and SA came a little later. |
| Our resort was beautiful. (Thank you, Mimi!) We hit the beach as soon as we arrived. |
| Susannah had a little stomach bug on the first day but pushed through. |
| The water was the most gorgeous color. |
| We were so happy to relax and reconnect. |
| Our room had this fantastic view. |
| The resort offered all sorts of fun activities, including poolside bingo, which we played on our first afternoon. |
| Susannah was back to her normal self on day 2. |
| How are they this big??? |
| SA found a coconut on the beach. |
| Best view for reading and napping. |
| Happy Hour! |
| We walked across the island to the bay side one evening for a seafood dinner. |
| Key Lime pie was a must. |
| One of our favorite parts of the trip was watching the huge yachts pulling in and out of the Palm Beach marinas. |
| We played putt-putt every night. |
| And had virgin pina coladas for dessert. |
| Our time flew by and before we knew it, we were taking our obligatory goodbye photo and headed to the airport. |
| The following week was Take Your Child to Work Day at the Pentagon. SA had the best time. |
| The service dogs were her favorite part, of course. |
Susannah's outdoor track season is in full swing. Here she is gutting out the last yards of a mile run.
And that is our update. We pray all is well with each of you! |
