Happy New Year 2025

This year our Christmas break was different because Susannah and Peter were both sick with upper respiratory viruses that kept them pretty down and out of some of the festivities.  But we made the best of it and enjoyed a few extra days at home thanks to the great big snow that fell the day before school was set to resume.  Here are the few photos we have to document Holiday Season 2024.

This crew took the snowy neighborhood by storm and had a fantastic time sledding and drinking hot cocoa to warm up afterward.

Peter was sad the girls didn't invite him to sled with them and their friends.  :)

We went to a Georgetown Women's basketball game one night with some family friends.  They showed us around campus and took us to a fun campus restaurant for burgers beforehand.

We spent one lovely sunny afternoon walking the 5-mile path around Burke Lake.  Sally loved this excursion.

Speaking of Sallly, these two are living their best life with family members home every single day.

Christmas Morning was fun......SA was excited about her Sephora gift card from Mimi.

Susannah was equally pumped about her new record player and records.

Ready for Christmas!!!

We hosted our traditional pre-Christmas Eve candlelight service appetizer and drinks gathering.

Peter was too sick to attend and stayed downstairs, while this one pushed through, but wasn't at her best, as evidenced by this photo.  :)

There's a smile!

Sausage balls and a Christmas wreath of pigs-in-a-blanket are our traditional fare.

With Susannah and Peter being sick, lots of movies by the fire were happening over break.

We managed to squeeze in our Christmas Cookie Bake-off.

And Sarah and I baked 14 packages of cinnamon rolls for friends and neighbors.

Another fun Christmas memory was when Honey peed on the presents under the tree and we had to re-wrap them and store them in a plastic bin.   Fun times with an elderly dog.

Quite a dirth of photos, but that was what we managed with our extenuating circumstances.  We send our love and wishes for a happy and healthy 2025.
