As soon as Susannah returned from Martha's Vineyard, it was time to get packed and organized for our 3-week long road trip across the Southeast. The first stop was Grammy's house, then we headed to Nashville for our annual 4th of July celebration, then to LaGrange to visit Mimi, and then onto Gulf Shores, Alabama to spend a week with Peter's family. Unfortunately, in keeping with my recent habits, the photos are in reverse chronological order. :)

| After a 2 day long drive from Gulf Shores to Alexandria, we were so excited to be reunited with the dogs. |

| Peter took these 3 fishing one afternoon on a charter boat. They brought home a great catch for fish tacos! |

| The day before we headed to Gulf Shores, Peter's cousin Hannah hosted a little family gathering at her farmhouse. |

| The day before that, we went swimming with our other cousin Emma. |

| Before our time in LaGrange, we spent a few nights with the Insognas, who so graciously host 3 families every 4th of July. Their dog Huck is always a highlight. |

| Our first and longest stop was Grammy's new house. We loved seeing her beautiful new home. |

Whew---it was a long, tiring tour, but our hearts were full of memories and laughs. So thankful to all of our friends and family for hosting us. We love you all!
