2024 is in Full Swing!

This year has started out with lots of basketball and quite a bit of winter weather.  Here are the highlights in backward chronological order.

One of Susannah's friends rented a couple of baby goats for the weekend so Peter and the girls had to go over and check it out.

Sarah Avery's dream come true.

Susannah loved it too.

Holding a baby goat is supposed to immediately give you a serotonin hit which I think proved true for Sarah.

Last week was Valentine's Day.  SA gave us each a handpainted popsicle stick.  I'm using mine as a bookmark.  :)

The girls were excited to open their treats before school.

Sarah Avery has the best group of girlfriends----seen here after a birthday party at an escape room.

Why is Girl Scout Cookie season in the dead of winter??

This girl.

We enjoyed a beautiful snowfall that Sally and I enjoyed.

The not-so-peaceful scene in our mudroom----wet snow gear everywhere!

Here are the owners of all that gear.....enjoying some popcorn and cocoa by the fire after an epic snowball fight.

Peter took SA sledding at one of Alexandria's most popular sledding hills.

4th and 5th grade band gave their first concert in January as well.  These girls did great!

He was a pretty good snowman!

Big smiles on the first morning of the big snow.

Sally loved it .

Always extra peaceful when the streets are covered.

Another less fun part of our January was Susannah's podiatry appointments.  She should be all set now though.

And now we are looking forward to our last basketball games and looking ahead to the Lacrosse season and the middle school musical.  We hope that all of you are well.  All our love from Alexandria!
