After spending a few days in knoxville with Grammy, we headed back south to LaGrange to be with Papa and Grandmother and Mimi and Poppy. Susannah did really well on the drive and we made good time.

Susannah was most excited to see her new baby cousin, Clara Kate.

She also loved hanging out with her aunt Nancy.
And playing with her Uncle Hollis.
And she LOVED Clara Kate's dog, Otis.
Wow! He is bigger than Meadow!
We had a beautiful Christmas Eve Eve dinner with the whole Mallory family. We did it early so that Aunt Liz and Clara Kate could be home in South Carolina on Christmas.

Susannah loved the big and pretty Christmas tree.
We had fun opening presents.
Here is Aunt Liz opening one of hers.

Dada bought Susannah and me a matching present.

How cute are we in our hot pink crocs?
Susannah was more interested in Otis than in her gifts.
Papa and Clara Kate in front of the pretty tree.
Here is Susannah poised and ready for her first official "Mallory family Christmas morning dash." Uncle Hollis wasn't quite awake yet.
We also were able to spend lots of time with Mimi and Poppy. Here we are with cousin Claire at our Christmas night dinner.
Claire was a big helper while I fed Susannah.
Poppy even came over to help.
Susannah had the hang of the present opening by this time. She knew to go straight for the big ones.
She still preferred the Christmas cookies to the Christmas presents though.
She did love all the books she was given. Especially this great big version of one of her favorites, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
Thanks to all of our families for giving us so many wonderful memories. We felt so blessed to be home for Christmas for the first time as a family of three.
