Happy Halloween 2013

Happy Halloween from  Stuttgart!    Despite her terror of all things Disney character related during our trip to Disneyland last summer, Susannah has become quite the Minnie Mouse fan these days.   We have tea almost everyday with her Minnie Mouse tea-set and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is her favorite cartoon.   So, deciding on a Halloween costume this year seemed like a no brainer.   Peter is in Charleston this weekend for his 10 year college reunion (how are we that old already?!?!) so Susannah and I spent the afternoon with some American friends on base and did trick-or-treating with them.

Unfortunately for Susannah, she was not given the craftiest mommy so her whiskers were a little crazy-looking.

Susannah's friend Liberty had the exact same costume....so funny!

It was freezing but Susannah was insistent that she not cover up her costume.   (This only lasted a few blocks before she surrendered to her warm coat.)

She looked so adorable.   I couldn't stop snapping pictures.   And the friends we were with have three kids so I totally looked like the crazy parent of an only child.  :)

We got caught in a little traffic jam on the way home, so this is the candy that survived the car ride. 

 

Susannah was so sweet and picked out pieces to share with all of her stuffed animals.
