A Visit from Grammy and new scooters!

This past weekend was extra special because Grammy came to visit from Tennessee.   It was freezing cold, which was a bummer, especially considering that the weekend before it was 75 degrees.   But we had fun indoors and the girls soaked up every minute of grandparent time they had.   Here are the pictures from the past couple of weeks.....

Two weekends ago, it was so warm that we ate dinner outside on the patio.   In shorts!!

Pizza and sushi.....TGIF food for sure!

These guys were cracking me up in their getups.

And this one is growing so fast I can't even keep up.

Meadow loves playing dress up with SA.   And by loves, I mean reluctantly consents to.

Sarah Avery loves taking Meadow for walks.   Especially when we stop by the playground on the way home.

Peter bought the girls some scooters now that spring is upon us.   They love them.  SA is still getting the hang of hers.

These two.   I can't even.

Grammy arrived on Friday and she got right to playing!

These girls were so excited to see their Grammy!

SA was showing off her gluing skills.

We took Grammy to brunch after church on Sunday.   The girls shared chicken and waffles.

It was a hit.

Thanks for coming Grammy!   We miss you already!

We braved the cold on Sunday afternoon to take Meadow out for a little stroll.   The girls took their scooters of course.

SA has figured out that she can run faster than she can scooter so she was just running alongside Susannah.

Wheeeeee!

We got the balance bike out and SA was much more comfortable on it.   Her legs are finally long enough to manage it and she loves it.

As much as this one loves her scooter.

Susannah wanted to write Grammy a note after her visit, so we did.   She was so proud that she addressed it all by herself.

And that is what is going on with the Mallory family.   Hope all is well with all of you.   Love and hugs from Virginia!
