Spring 2026

This spring was busy and hectic, but also full of happy memories.  Here are some of the highlights:

We took SA and friends to her favorite place.....the baby goat farm!

It's amazing how fast time flies when you are snuggly baby goats.

We stopped at a brewery on the way home for a snack.

And met the brewery mascots.

This beauty finally got her braces off!

And these two dyed some Easter eggs.

We rented a last-minute river house for a few days over spring break.  SA loved the paddleboard.

And everyone loved the hot tub.

The screened porch had a lovely view.

And we were back in time to make a trifle for Easter lunch.

The Easter bunny came on Saturday because Mommy was leading the sunrise service early Sunday morning.

Happy Easter!

Never too old for an egg hunt!

I had to record myself chanting for a liturgical music class.  It was quite the endeavor.

The girls spent the day at the Pentagon for their last "Take Your Kid to Work Day" before Peter's retirement.

Susannah was confirmed and became a full member of Westminster.

Where did our little girls go?

Susannah had a tough track season because she was out for a month with mono, but she persevered and PR'd the 800 meters towards the end of the season.

Proud runner!

I preached my last sermon as a seminary intern at Trinity.  It was bittersweet.

The girls made Mother's Day super special with a spa day and a scavenger hunt.

And now we are halfway through May, and somehow, the end of the school year is already in sight.  We send our love and hugs from Alexandria!
