Susannah, where have 4 months gone? You are so big now. You had your four month check up yesterday and you weighed a whopping 15.5 lbs and are 25 inches long. Wow! Your daddy and I think that this month you have devoloped the most and changed the most of any month. You are hilarious.......smiling and laughing on cue, playing with your hair (what little is left) as you fall asleep, rolling over, grabbing everything including my hair and earrings, and all sorts of other antics that make your Daddy and me laugh and laugh.
Look at how big you are compared to your bla bla doll! I remember when we took your one week picture, you weren't much bigger than she was.
Here are some pictures from all the fun we have had this month:
Despite all of your movement and energy, you still love having us read to you. You looooove doing all the different activities in this book, "Pat the Bunny."
You are now sitting in your high chair during dinner. Sometimes you love it:
While other nights you are less sure:
You are putting everything in your mouth these days, but your fingers are still your favorite:
You have rolled over a couple of times now, and you seem to hate tummy time less and less everyday. While mommy is super proud of how strong you are becoming, I'm keeping fingers crossed that you will wait to start crawling until we are all unpacked and settled in San Diego.
Your typical evening consists of a bath (which you loooove.).
Then you usually hang out with Daddy in bed while Mommy gets herself ready for bed. (this way as soon as your head hits the pillow, mine is less than 30 seconds behind you.) You love relaxing with Daddy.
One of your favorite tricks these days is bubble blowing. (You even love the word "bubble" ...... you will almost always laugh if we say it. We say it to you so much, your Daddy is scared that you are going to think it is your name.)
You have also started sticking out your tongue on occasion......usually when we are trying to get you to smile for a picture.
You have also developed the adorably girly habit of playing with your hair. You do this as you fall asleep and it melts my heart.
Your Grandmama sent you this adorable outfit. We thought you looked so beautiful in your little sweater vest and pink pleated pants, we had to do a photo shoot.
Susannah, thank you for such an amazing fourth month. You amaze me everyday. Now that you are growing and changing so fast, I am already looking forward to seeing the person that you will become. I love you baby girl!
Aww... I (selflishy) wish she wouldn't have been sleeping yesterday ;)!! Toocute!!
ReplyDeleteShe is getting so big with so much personality! I can never decide who she looks like. Can't wait to see her in person in just three months!
ReplyDeleteShe has such a sweet smile! Between playing with her hair and putting things in her mouth, it looks like you are well into teething!
