A visit from MiMi!

Today Susannah's Gam and Papa arrived from LaGrange, and their arrival was a reminder of how behind I am on our blogging, as we haven't even posted pictures from the last grandparent visit. My step-mom, Sherrie, known to Susannah as Mimi, came over in March and we had such a great week.

Susannah hit it off with her Mimi from the very first second.

Maybe because she came with all sorts of adorable presents. It was like Christmas. One of the items Mimi brought was this white eyelet hat which Susannah has already gotten so much use out of.

Having Mimi here was so great for the whole family. An extra pair of experienced hands made everyone more relaxed and productive! I was even able to tackle the mound of ironing that had accumulated after Susannah's arrival. (Seriously, Peter was running out of shirts........it took me at least 2 hours to finish. Could never had done it without Mimi to entertain Susannah.)

She loved being rocked by Mimi while I took care of things around the house.



Susannah's favorite toy, her singing lady bug, ran out of battery power, so Mimi replaced it with this beautiful singing flower. Susannah loves it even more than the lady bug.


My dad had given strict instructions for Sherrie to take lots of pictures, so we ended up with some great shots of Susannah at 3 months. Here are some of my favorites. Sorry most of them are sideways.....I can't figure out how to turn them since they aren't in our iphoto files. Cute nonetheless, right?
