Grub Sprawl

With so many summer activities to do in San Diego we wanted to get started right away. Our first big event was right up our alley. The Coronado Grub Sprawl was a way to visit several restaurants in the area and try a bit a of everything.

The first restaurant was a lovely Italian place with a great view but only mediocre Ravioli.

Susannah gave us quite a chuckle though when she pinched the waiter's buttocks while he was serving the table behind us. It must be her flirty French upbringing.

After a lovely Japanese dish we strolled down Orange Ave. to a hole in the wall bar with a world class burger. Danny's slamburger was great and Susannah loved the festive atmosphere.

The next place was an awesome mexican catina with a cool setting. The tacos were delish and the smell of the outdoor tortillas grilling were enough to keep our appetites going.

Susannah was wiped out though, despite the abundance of aromas circling the courtyard.

Before the walk home we rewarded Mommy with a Banana and chocolate crepe. Just a little reminder of notre ancienne vie française. .

  1. I'm glad you liked Danny's! You have to try the Frogman or the Devil Dog! P.S. - This is Lindsey:)
