Celebrate Good Times

Since Peter's homecoming, the Mallory family has had quite a bit to celebrate.    Birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Setting a marathon PR, purchasing a new wagon, and Mommy and Daddy's first ever overnight date night were just a few of the causes for celebrations this month.    Here are some pictures from all of the fun.

In addition to an afternoon at the Hotel Del Coronado spa, (I'm afraid I don't have any photos to share from that......I was too busy relaxing to take any.)  Peter also took me out to 1500 Ocean for a fancy dinner with a view of the Pacific to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day.   I know this photo is blurry, but we had a perfect night.

The food was as perfect as the view, and the dessert was delicious and beautifully presented.

We've been joining all of Coronado on Sunday nights to celebrate summer with the free concerts in the park.   This year is a little bit less relaxing now that Susannah and Leyton are mobile, but it is still a super fun way to spend Sunday evenings.

We celebrated Peter's birthday with an ice cream cake from Moo Time Creamery.

Susannah was a little unsure about the candles.

But she wasn't the least bit unsure about the cake!

"Playing horsey with Daddy is the most fun way to celebrate a birthday.......

"But a ride in my new wagon is a close second."

One of Susannah's favorite ways to celebrate having her Daddy home is story-time.

We've taken LOTS of wagon rides lately.

I know this picture is dark, but it is a memory worth noting!   Mommy and Daddy finally went on an overnight date night.   Here we are having a cocktail at the top of the Hyatt in downtown San Diego.   The picture doesn't do the view justice.

And this is Susannah while we were away......clearly happy to be at Miss Debra's house.

This picture doesn't really need a caption except, "Aren't I the sweetest?"

Ditto

We celebrated Father's Day on Saturday because Daddy had watch on Sunday.   We had a full day that started with a morning jog to the bay so Daddy and Meadow could go for a swim with Susannah and Mommy played at the playground.

Susannah and Daddy checking out some of the beautiful blooms that are all over the island right now.

In the afternoon, we headed to the beach so Daddy could test out one of his Father's Day presents....new swim trunks.

Susannah was not a fan of the ocean.

"Please don't make me go back in there Daddy!"

Peter's other Father's Day gift.......a wine tasting sampler.

Mommy and Daddy enjoyed this with a dinner of grilled shrimp and pineapple after Susannah went to bed.

Susannah all ready for church yesterday.

We texted these pics to Daddy to say Happy Father's Day on the official day.

And then we spent the afternoon playing on Daddy's ship.   Susannah LOVED the ship and we had a great time checking out Daddy's "office."
Hope all of you are having safe and happy summers!   Love and miss you all!
