Here are some more shots from days 3-5 of our week in Waikiki. Fun was definitely had by all......
| Susannah was excited to wear her new watermelon bathing suit. |
| While she loved playing in the sand, I think her favorite spot was on the blanket with her snacks. |
| "Oh loo! I have a watermelon slice on my bathing suit." |
| 99% sure she was pointing to a trolley, bus, airplane, or helicopter. We are VERY into all modes of transportation these days. |
| She wanted to walk like a big girl most of the time, so often we didn't even bother bringing the stroller to the beach. |
| We had to check out the famous Duke's Beach Bar and have a mai tai. It was delicious. I didn't get a picture, but Susannah loved the live music and danced. |
| We decided to take a beach break mid week and headed over to the Honolulu Zoo. Susannah saw lots of animals. |
| Like this peacock. |
| And this rhino. |
| And these fish. |
| And, of course, in keeping with tradition, Susannah had to go see her beloved goats in the petting zoo. These guys were remarkably more docile than the ones in San Diego. Maybe they get a mai tai with their breakfast?? |
| On our way to dinner. We had a great table with this as our view. |
| Pretty nice, huh? Unfortunately this was the one meal that Susannah decided to boycott the highchair, so we ended up scarfing our food and getting to-go boxes. |
| We decided the best course of parental action would be to reward her behavior with some frozen yougurt. |
| The next day we headed back to the beach for more fun in the sun. |
| Dumping the water was the most fun. |
| "Look Dada!" |
| The two bathing beauties in their super cool sunglasses. |
| I LOVE this outfit! |
| We had a great lunch at Tiki's.....I felt like a fruity drink was in order. |
The view was perfect....doesn't look real, does it?
Up next: A crater climb and a celebrity waterfall! Miss and love you all!!
