Well, this week wasn't much different than last.....more illness, more doctor's visits, more antibiotics. This time Susannah and I have strep throat. Ugh. Spring, when will you be here? In other news, it snowed this weekend which made staying inside the apartment a little more cozy and enjoyable since we had beautiful snowy views outside our windows. Here are this week's pictures.......
| This one is growing and changing everyday. She is strong-willed and can pitch quite a fit, but she is also really sweet and hilarious. |
| Last weekend we took some stale bread to the duck pond and served brunch to all the ducks. |
| The pigeons came too. |
| And one swan. |
| Sarah Avery has been anti-hat all winter long, but thankfully, she finally surrendered this week. Good thing for her, since the low is 8 degrees tomorrow morning. |
| One day after school we went to the mall for some ice cream and to kill some time in a heated place that wasn't our apartment. |
| So grown up. |
| We spent Friday morning at the doctor. After all our trips there lately, this time I wised up and brought some toy cars, which kept them busy while we waited on our prescriptions to be filled. And yes, I'm aware that some may frown upon letting sick children crawl around on the floor of a clinic, but I am not one of those people. ;) |
| All bundled up for a walk to the bakery. Walking to the bakery and the grocery store is our saving grace from total cabin fever. |
| Santa brought this 3d puzzle to Susannah and she loves putting all the patterns together. |
| And SA loves driving her zoo animals around in their truck. |
| This morning we woke up to this....... |
| So we decided not to brave the drive up the mountain to church. |
| Our car may be Swedish, but the driver is an American from the Southeast with no winter driving capabilities. |
| So we settled in for another cozy day in the apartment. With our morning pretzels of course. |
| After nap-time we headed to the playground for a little winter fun. |
| We forgot mittens, so we weren't there too long. |
| But the girls seemed to like it. |
| And the snow was the perfect texture for snow balls. Easy to pack and just wet enough to stick. |
| It is supposed to keep snowing so Susannah is excited about playing in the snow at school tomorrow. |
We hope all of you are enjoying a nice restful weekend. We love you and miss you all!
