Daddy's Home! (And we are STILL sick.)

This past weekend was a good one because Peter arrived back from a trip to the states.   We were all happy to be reunited after two weeks and were especially relieved considering he made it out of DC just hours before the crazy blizzard arrived.   Unfortunately, in addition to a new jump rope for Susannah, he also brought some germs home so he and Sarah Avery are sick.   Again.   SA is on another antibiotic for double ear infection.   Thankfully, she seems to feel fine and since the doctor's office feels like a second home these days, she was really well behaved in the waiting room.   ;)

Here are the very few pictures that we took this week......

Susannah had a friend over for dinner after ballet class.   They watched "Curious George" while I put SA to bed.

SA was so happy to have her Daddy back.

We have been having after dinner dance parties.

Complete with ballet moves, fancy shoes, and a microphone for singing along.

SA loves the microphone.

We took Susannah to get a haircut one day after school.   

We went to the kids salon at a local department store and entertained ourselves with these rides while we waited our turn.

Wahoo.

Love this pic because it is such a good illustration of daily life around here......SA being wild and Susannah being patient and/or frustrated with her little sister's antics.   ;)

Finished product.......we only took off a few inches since Susannah wants her hair "to be really long, just like Rapunzel."
