Spring is here!

The cherry blossoms are in bloom and spring showers have brought lots of flowers here in northern Virginia.   We have been soaking up lots of time outside.    Here are a few pictures........

These two girls are such sweet sisters and love each other so much around 90% of the time.   Watching them play together is one of my favorite things.    

Sarah Avery is growing and changing so quickly.    She is talking so much and it has made such a difference to be able to fully communicate with her.  She says so many funny things......
"Carry up me" means pick me up.
Duh Duh is still Susannah's name.
When she wants to take of her shoes and go barefoot she says,  "Walk tiptoe Mommy?"

We walk Meadow to the little tot lot playground near our house most afternoons and these two play and play.

Their favorite games lately are house, school, family, and puppies.

Peter has been working so hard to get the backyard in tip top shape.   His hard work has paid off as we have already enjoyed lots of time out there. 

We ate dinner out there last night actually....

These two seemed to enjoy themselves.  

In other news, Susannah has started soccer.    This was before her first practice, which is where this soccer idiot learned that the socks are extra long because they are supposed to fold down over the shin guards.   Oops.

She had a blast at practice.  We are so excited because her sweet Daisy troop leader is also her soccer coach and she knows several kids on her team. 

Saturday was her first game.   

She was so pumped and worked so hard the entire game.   She even scored a few goals!   (The kindergarten teams don't have goalies or keep score, so it is 100% fun.)

Peter helped out by being the time keeper and sub manager.   Fun was had by all!
