This day may have been our very favorite day because Susannah became a Jedi and we had lunch in Cinderella's castle! It was a day that we will all remember forever.
| We arrived to Hollywood Studios just as it opened because Susannah really wanted to sign up for the Jedi training school and we had read that they filled up fast. We ran into a storm trooper on our way. He did not want to take a picture with us. |
| Peter went to ride the big roller coaster while the girls and I headed over to Toy Story Land to check it out and ride Toy Story Mania. |
| This section of the park was adorable. All of the toy decor is huge so that you feel toy-sized. It's hilarious and adorable and super crowded. ;) |
| After Toy Story Land, we met back up with Daddy so our young Jedi could go conduct her Jedi training. |
| Susannah and Peter had the best time exploring the Star Wars stuff, like Luke Skywalker's light saber. |
| Susannah with her favorite Princess.....Princess Rey. |
| The Force is strong with this one. |
| Peter and Susannah stood in a quick line to meet BB-8. |
| This was by far Peter's favorite day. |
| Susannah was a little nervous, but her love for all things Star Wars won out. |
Especially since she needed to show him her BB-8 watch.
| Meanwhile, SA and I went to the Little Mermaid Show, the Disney Junior Show, and met lots of characters. Doc McStuffins was first up. |
| Everybody made a big deal about Sarah Avery's birthday. They all guessed she was 5 instead of 4. |
| Then Sophia the First |
Olaf was the only character we had to wait in a long line for.
But his hug was totally worth the 20 minute wait!!
I had so much fun spending time with this birthday girl.
| Peter let Susannah build her own light saber. |
| And then it was time for her Jedi training camp. |
| They gave the trainees their own light sabers and robes. |
| These two Star Wars junkies were beside themselves. |
| SA and I arrived just in time to see the show. |
| Susannah was so brave. |
| It was all pretty intense. |
| But she was down for it! |
| So fierce! |
| Halfway through their training, Darth Vader comes out with Kylo Ren and disrupts the training. |
| And each of the trainees have to fight Kylo Ren. |
| They used their new skills and had their Jedi teacher by their side. |
| /Susannah was a little warrior! |
| Of course, the jedi trainees defeated the bad guys and they were all declared official Jedi Knights. It was awesome and Susannah will remember it forever. So will Peter. ;) |
| After the Jedi show, we had just enough time to scoot over to the Frozen Sing-along show. It was so fun and hilarious. It even snowed at the end! All four of us loved it! |
| After the Frozen Sing-Along, we headed to Magic Kingdom for our lunch reservations in the Castle!! |
| We were a little early, so we hung out in a costume shop. This cast member offered to give the girls magic fairy dust. |
| They made their wishes and then we watched a little bit of the parade before heading into the castle. |
| We were so excited to snag reservations to eat in Cinderella's Castle for lunch. She greeted us before we were seated. |
She was so sweet and welcoming.
And told the girls all about her glass slipper.
And signed autographs of course.
Then we were seated in the Royal Dining Room. The girls were given wands and wishing stars. It was all very sweet and Peter and I were even into the magic. The food was actually really good too.
For dessert, the girls had build your own cupcakes.
| Several princesses stopped by during our meal. Snow White was first. |
| Then Susannah's favorite, Sleeping Beauty. |
Each of them spent time with the girls and were patient with their questions.
| Ariel was so friendly and sweet. |
| But Jasmine was my favorite. She was cool and relaxed. |
| The girls were beside themselves. |
| We paused for a pic on the steps before heading back out into the heat and crowds. |
| On the way out, we paused on this bridge to watch some baby ducks and enjoy the castle view. |
| We also bought the girls Mickey balloons. Because we love being bopped in the head constantly while pushing the double stroller through massive crowds. ;) |
| We knew we were headed back to the Magic Kingdom for the entire next day, so we headed home after lunch to get some pool time in. |
| While we were changing into our suits, we saw these turkeys outside our room. So random. |
| Our hotel had an amazing splash pad area. The girls had a blast. |
| It was so perfect to cool off and relax after two days of crowds and heat. |
| I didn't get a picture, but I have to mention the huge slide that was in the main pool Susannah was so scared to go, but when she finally did, she was hooked and probably slid down it 30 times during our visit. |
And that was Day 2. Next day, Magic Kingdom!!!
