Hilton Head

We are back from our last summer trip and real life is closing in quickly so I decided to post the photos from our week in Hilton Head Island with our cousins.  We enjoyed the lovely (hot) weather and had lots of laughs and fun memories.  A big thank you to Mimi and Aunt Beth for making that trip happen!

The view from our condo was gorgeous.

These two got hair wraps poolside on their first day.

This duck family that lived on the resort property was so adorable.

We rode our bikes over to the Westin Resort for dinner one night and enjoyed the Margarita Sampler.

It was so nice having Peter with us this year.

These 4 girls had the best time together.

We honored Poppy with a little 5 pm happy hour one afternoon.

Inseparable all week long.  :)

This was my view during our death march bike ride to get frozen yogurt one day.  Why we thought biking 12 miles in the hundred-degree weather was a good idea, I'm not sure.  But we made it and piled those cups high with frozen yogurt.  :)

Ready for dinner.

These beauties shared a condo with Peter and me.  They stayed up way too late watching rom-coms and had the best time.

We had some awesome dinners out on the town.

Pool party day complete with snow cones.

And the Dad's belly flop contest.  Peter was such a trooper.  :)

And a family dance-off.

We finally got our tent to work on the last day.

Uncle Dexter came in for our last two days.  This was the gorgeous sunset view from our last dinner together.

The sky was amazing.

Quintessential low country view.

And now we are settling back into real life, complete with a dead refrigerator.  2 weeks until girls start school and 2 days until I start seminary.  This summer was a blast, but we are all excited to get back into a routine.  We love and miss you all!
