Life has been coming at us fast over the past month. A broken fridge, a couple cases of COVID, a case of lice, a sick dog, and three of the four of us starting a new school year have combined to create quite the wild ride. We managed to celebrate Sarah's 10th birthday in there as well. We are a little tired, but still alive and kicking. Here are the photos from our last crazy month.
| I'm officially a seminarian! Orientation and my first intensive course have been amazing. My heart and mind are full and excited to continue on this journey. |
| These two are ruling their respective schools as 5th and 8th grade leaders. |
| 1st day family selfie. |
| My little baby is in the double digits now. We celebrated with a family party on her actual birthday. She requested pumpkin cupcakes. |
| So proud of this thoughtful, inquisitive, hilarious, beautiful girl. |
| She was pumped to open her cards and her presents. |
| The next day, we picked her and her friends up from school for a party at the bowling alley. |
| We had polar pizza from Baskin Robbins. |
| She wasn't feeling her best, but she pushed through to celebrate with her friends. |
| These girls had a blast bowling. (Peter, Susannah, and I did too.) |
| Susannah has done a big, brave thing this fall and joined the high school cross-country team. Her first meet was this past Saturday and we were so proud of her. |
Coming up next is the start of field hockey and lacrosse for Sarah Avery, church choir for both girls, a promotion to Captain and a new job at the Pentagon for Peter, and a new semester of seminary classes for me. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. :) We love and miss you all!
