Still waiting....

Well, this post will be exceptionally short, both on words and pictures.  Nothing new to report except that at my weekly appointment last week the doctor used the phrase, "baby could come any day now."    Six days later and the magic "any day now" has yet to arrive.   But we are trying to enjoy the wait and be thankful for the opportunity to sleep through the night and go out to restaurants for a few more days/weeks.   We have officially finished the "to do before baby" list.   And Nancy returns from her trip tomorrow morning so we can stop talking up the "really fun slumber party that might start any night" with Susannah.   After tomorrow, she can stay in her own bed and on her normal schedule which will be such a relief.

Susannah's kindergarten is closing for the next three weeks, but luckily our church is hosting Vacation Bible School next week, so we will have some entertainment for week one of the break.   'm volunteering to help with snacks because:  1.  I will be in the church basement which I'm hypothesizing is the coolest area and 2.  Cookies.

I haven't taken many pictures since my last post, but here are the few that I managed.

We checked out a new biergarten with friends last Sunday after church.   It had an awesome playground that you can actually see from the tables, so parents and kids were happy.

One night after dinner, Peter and Susannah had a little impromptu dance party......just for fun.

Today after church we headed to this little coffee shop in our neighborhood.   Susannah was a big fan of the heart shaped waffles.

Hopefully the next blog post will feature Susannah as an official big sister.   Keep the prayers coming!!
